  • Christian is the founder at ASA.

    I was an early days Shopify employee (#145) where I launched customer experience for Shopify Plus, supporting major clients like BlackMilk, Strava, The Chivery, and the 2016 Presidential campaign for Hillary Clinton.

    I then launched an influencer program called Shopify VIP and worked with megastars like Kylie Jenner and Jeffree Starr. It was fun, but I wanted to plan events. Events are my passion.

    During the pandemic, I managed the growth of a US-based e-commerce and media company as EVP of Operations for Knocking.

    I have an Advanced 3-year Diploma in Advertising from Algonquin College and a certification in Event Management from QC Event School.

    Outside of work, I’m all about travel, food, and my two Maine Coon cats, Reykjavík and Isobel.

  • Emilie is the Production Director at ASA.

    My many years of experience in the hospitality industry, creative background in Fine Art, and passion for making other people happy led to my career in event management.

    I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Ottawa and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Event Management from Algonquin College.

    I’m a highly skilled English writer, possessing a Minor in English. I’ve held management positions throughout my professional career in the Fine Dining and Hospitality industry, and curatorial roles in Fine Art.

    My artistry brings a unique sense of creativity to event planning.

  • David is the Creative Director at ASA

    After studying photography at Algonquin College, I ventured into hairstyling studying at the Ottawa Academy. I further trained in NYC, Toronto and with over a decade of experience in the field, I opened my own salon-studio, Le Coiffeur.

    After closing doors in 2020 due to the pandemic, I joined Knocking as a brand manager and went on to work with 500+ brands and major US TV networks and shows. After a year and a half in that role, I changed position and became the culture lead. As part of that role, I produced concerts, activities, webinars, games for our company of 100+ employees.

    My eye for design comes in handy with creating and curating decor and concepts for events.
